Homes of the human residents of Naulitas are to the east and west of the
boardwalk here.  Constructed mostly of wood and stone, the houses were built
right against the walkway, and their facings serve as extensions to the low
walls that surround the boardwalk in this area.  Despite their rugged and
weathered appearance, these houses seem quite welcoming and cheery.
