The Altar of a Candle-Filled Church                    -      -      -

A small semicircle forms this area of the church, which has a floor
slightly higher than the rest of the church.  A white stone altar stands as
the centerpiece of the church.  Surrounded by the ubiquitous small candles,
the altar serves as a podium for the local priest and as a devotional area
to The Powers.  
     A white marble altar with several candleholders serves as the focal point of the church.
