This corridor is very narrow and heavily defended and guarded.  The
passage is so twisty that each sharp turn seems to lead right into another
bend.  The stone floor is heavily worn and smooth from guards on watch
pacing back and forth in a monotonous daze.  Each corner has a brightly
burning torch resting in a crevice casting dancing shadows on the low rocky
ceiling.  
     A tattered old feather lies here in the dust.
(  3) A rather sharp but crude object has been dropped here.
A stout troglodyte marches back and forth, eyes unfocused and straight ahead.
