The sounds of busy villagers attending to daily chores and business are
all around.  Some stalagmites have been carved into small tables and around
them are crude straw mats.  Stalactites dangle precariously from the ceiling
over the dirtied ground but no one seems to be concerned about it. 
Troglodyte children dawdle here while their parents attend to business and
have left little toys and chalk markings for games behind.  
(  4) A pile of straw resembling a dolly is sitting here.
     A tattered old feather lies here in the dust.
     A small pile of sulfur has been set on the ground here.
While crouching low to the ground, a chubby troglodyte boy tosses some marbles.
A frumpy, hairy little girl romps around, playfully clutching two straw dolls.
