Holy Ground - - NE (-------------------------------------------------) - <---(M)---> E - - SE All of Troglodyte Village revolves around this single cave corner. Generations of troglodytes have come here to pray and learn from the greater shamans of the village. The walls are all covered in tribal drawings of battles and old tales of adventures. The most prominent sketch is that of the legend of an ancient relic, held dear to these people. An empty stone altar rests against the west wall and straw mats rest in a half circle around it. The low and garbled chanting of the villagers mingles with the buzz of activity taking place around in the meeting grounds. A tattered old feather lies here in the dust. A small pile of sulfur has been set on the ground here. A villager kneels before an empty altar fumbling through a primitive tribal chant. Murmuring softly, an elderly shaman kneels before an empty altar in a trance. A villager kneels before an empty altar fumbling through a primitive tribal chant.
