Pleasent smells come from a pot of stew that is slowly cooking on top of
the single stove.  This kitchen isn't very large, but it is well stocked
with various spices and utensils.  A small collection of children's toys are
scattered about the floor, making walking a slightly risky prospect.  The
southern wall has a counter against it, most likely for preparing food.  The
rest of the house is to the west.  
     A small pile of sulfur has been set on the ground here.
A little baby with an abundance of energy is crawling towards you.
