This foyer is amazingly opulent.  Several large columns rise from the
floor, reaching up to the vaulted ceiling high above.  The columns are
painted with what appears to be pure gold, and the ceiling is covered in
artwork of amazing detail.  Paintings and tapestries hang over every
availible inch of wall space, giving the distinct impression that someone
has wealth well beyond any practical need.  A strange square outline can be
seen in the ceiling, but from down here, it's not quite possible to see what
it is.  A smokey chamber can be seen to the east and an elaborate dining
hall to the west.  Another ornate hallway lies to the north.  
     A small pile of sulfur has been set on the ground here.
