Researchers have long scoffed at the claims regarding the serpent at the
end of this passage.  Ithrilis followers insist it is the divine mother of
all sea serpents.  This seems ludicrous, but it is hard to completely doubt.
There are sounds of hissing, loud thuds of a massive tail on cement.  The
grimy smell of salt water wafts through the air.  No matter the truth, this
shrine has been designed with complete and utter belief.
