It's actually just two tall pillars in between light wooden fencing, but
it's nevertheless still a gate.  A crude chair on one side of a pillar
indicates a guard spot, but no one seems to be occupying it at the moment. 
There are no doors of any kind, so the gate is probably not closeable.  The
villagers probably expected no outsiders to reach this place in the first
place, or at least, no one without proper connection.  
**A grumpy orc gateguard stands here, staring at you.
