You stand within the center of a circle of humming stones.  There is no
life of any kind inside the circle although surrounding it are many plants
and tall trees whose branches hang overhead.  The circle is situated upon
the summit of a small hill and to the east a slope leads onto a dark trail. 
The air shimmers as you move through the area, like walking through an
invisible barrier that causes ripples like a pebble fallen into a still
pond.
