The smell of incense and burning candles is heavy in the air and as such,
the ceiling above the altar is black with soot from the years of candles
burning on the altar.  The altar itself is pure white marble worked with
silver and gold and you even see some tourmaline worked into it.  The high
priest is here praising the dead that fought to save the church.
