After all the time you spent in the dark, damp tunnels, you find
yourself back in the open air.  As you look around you to see a tight row of
trees and a fence or bars that keep anything from leaving the path.  The
path is nearly completely covered with vines and other plant growth.  There
appears to be a slight parting in the vegetation.  The path comes to an end
here, so back seems to be the only alternative.  
A vile, half-rotted gopher emerges from the ground as you draw near.
A thorny, red-veined vine twines its way around your feet.
