You are standing in a large circular room, with no windows or alternative
lighting save that from the street to the north.  Intricate woodworking
wraps around the entire wall, stopping and starting at the doorway you
entered through, and before a darkened archway to the south.  The ceiling of
this room extends up several stories, but due to the dim lighting you cannot
make out much more detail beyond the second floor.
