You are in the vast lobby of the Museum of Rune, a depository for rare
magical works of art.  Several years back, a group of thieves broke in and
stole some of the most valuable paintings, thinking to resell them
elsewhere.  The paintings were discovered in a pile in the middle of a
nearby forest, with footprints scattered all around them - the thieves were
never found.  However, a few of the paintings seemed to be altered in that
human figures could be seen deep within the textures of the paintings... 
You shudder to think about the power of art.  The Museum lobby continues to
the east, where you can see a staircase leading up to the first floor.  A
gallery begins to the north, and there is a small office to the west.
