You are standing at the Eastern Gate of the Towne of Rune.  While the
gate has a set of large and impressive iron gates on its eastern side, it
does not appear as if it could withstand a siege.  You conclude that the
primary purpose of these gates is as an inspection and taxing station for
goods entering the Towne.  A beautiful white marble bridge rises to the
west.
