A gigantic archway constructed of granite polished to a mirror-like sheen
stands here.  Long, thin slits are cut into the stone at regular intervals
at waist level all along the wall, and circular holes are bored into the
stone ceiling.  The stone path is worn from use and is discolored in many
places.  North is the entrance to the Castle Courtyard.  You can hear the
rustling of people going about their business.
