You are standing at the beginning of the courtyard of the Runic Castle. 
The ground here is composed of smooth white granite stones, polished to a
gleaming shine by years of people wandering by.  Ahead, you can make out
shops lining the walls of the courtyard, where all kinds of merchandise can
be found.  The Castle itself is further north of here.
