You are walking along the guard patrol walkway of Runic Castle.  This
walkway surrounds the castle, making it a vital part of the castle defenses.
The floor here is laid with granite stone blocks, you can hear the footsteps
echoing footsteps across the granite as castle guards patrol by on their
watch.  Visitors are discouraged from loitering here, so you had better move
on!  A small doorway is to the west, and the walkway continues to the east.
