You have reached the eastern end of the Runic Castle, where the hallway
ends.  You spot narrow exits leading to the Guard Walks north and south of
here.  A large stained-glass window is carved into the east wall high above.
As sunlight shines through, it is multiplied and amplified into a gorgeous
dance of colors.  The hallway continues to the west.
