You are standing in the central hallway of the Runic Castle.  Directly to
the north is the entrance to the courtyard.  You can vaguely see and hear
the bustling activity that is always present in the marketplace.  The
hallway opens onto a stairway leading up here.  
Some drops of blood are on the ground.
     The bloody, severed head of a Runic Knight is lying here.
