You are standing in the hallway leading to the western wing in the upper
level of the castle.  The hallway is noticeably clean and seems well cared
for as the floor is well-polished marble and your reflection is can be seen
as you walk down the hallway.  It's obvious that the servants spend quite a
bit of time on these floors, and probably resent you marking it up with your
boots.
