Leading through Lord Vashir's palace, the marble hallway is a source of
great pride for Lord Vashir himself.  It is one of the few extravagant
expenses he has made to show that he has made a success in his reign.  With
great care, the floors are cleaned and polished daily, ensuring that it
holds up under the constant wear upon it.  Leading to the west is the dining
room, to the east are the gardens and to the north is Lord Vashir's audience
room.
