This short hallway connects the expansive foyer to the west with the
mansion's east tower.  The walls here a painted a dull white color, and the
candlesticks set above you cast flickering shadows on the floor.  You begin
to walk a little more quickly, eager to find a more open space.  A storage
room is to the south.
