This sturdy stone edifice towers above the other buildings in the area. 
It is designed to let the guards remain inside the city walls and watch the
surrounding areas at the same time.  A platform near the top of the tower
gives an excellent view over the walls, and a large bell hangs from the
ceiling in case of emergencies.
