This small room is plushly carpeted, and the walls are insulated to keep
sound inside the performace hall.  A doorway to the south leads into the
theatre, with a thick curtain that can be pulled across it during the opera.
However, since the curtain is still open, you conclude that the show has not
yet begun.  The lobby is back to the east.
