The original owner of this establishment fancied himself to be something
of an intellectual.  Indeed, the four books which he had read in his
lifetime made him a literary giant in the village, and when he opened this
inn he gave it a rather lofty name.  The fact that there are no flying
buttresses in the building never troubled the owner, since his neighbors
didn't know enough to recognize the difference.  
     A small brown ball of waste has been dropped here.
