You have entered a lofty room, where the gothic ceiling reaches up at
least a hundred feet.  On each of the side walls are tall, thin windows,
yellow with age.  Along each wall is a gigantic cloth, which is let down
during the day, to keep the light out.  The floor is made from stone tiles,
and the room echoes as you take each step.  You can continue down the hall
to the northwest, west, southwest, or south: or you can head southeast into
the hallway.
