A set of rickety steps led down into the gloom of the next dungeon level
here.  The dying scream of something drifts in on the wind from the passage
to the south and a pungent smell wafts up from below.  Careful steps and
wary eyes are needed to transverse the steps down.  Footsteps from soldiers
of the nearby prison echo off the walls.
