  This narrow fork from the main street is lined on the north by a dirty
boardwalk and a couple of shops.  On the south side of the street a small,
ancient chapel stands, with a graveyard at its side.  A heavy wooden door to
the north of you leads to the local blacksmith.  To the south a pair of old,
rotting doors hang from their hinges.  
Swirling ominously overhead are large storm clouds, lit by occasional flashes of lightning.
You pant and gasp, trying to catch your breath.

  The inside of this building is filled with smoke and heat from the
furnace in the rear.  The dim light and smoky haze make it difficult to see
much more than the smith, working busily on a dented piece of armor.  Old,
rusted and battered weapons and armor lay strewn about the floor waiting to
be worked on.  Light fights its way through an old, dirty window set into
one white-washed wall, barely illuminating the peeling paint on the walls.  
     The Sacred Shrub of Sigil grows nearby.
