Angbryn keyword 'pages':

The Alyrian Underground was not always as it is now. Once the city of
Decara rested above in the light and prospered. Then in a cataclysmic event
the city itself fell below ground along with its population. Lord Glomus,
by this time quite disturbed, managed to make arrangements for the ogres of
the territory to be at peace with the citizens of Decara. When word came of
an underground city with half-mad citizens the sorceresses Baba Yaga, Lady
Bane, and Vortex all endevoured to lay low in this perfect breeding pit of
evil. The various forms of life that can be found in the wilds make the
Alyrian Underground quite a diverse place. Bands of evil wizards, mercenary
drow, and other such creatures inhabit most of the wild lands. The ocean is
home to aggressive mermen protecting their mates against any who come near
them. The Caverns are home to many breeds of spider and plant, some mostly
harmless, others not. Among the known inhabited areas are the capital of
the dracon race, Vir, the damned city of Decara ruled by Lord Glomus, Sea
Hag Isle, rumored to have a living chess board and some of the most powerful
artifacts to be found, and travelers reports also bring tale of a strange
hotel kept by two sisters deep in Oceanus Decarus. These are the facts as
are known to this adventurer, may they aide you in whatever it is you seek.
