earth.  However, other than that large fortress, you dont see anything else
but endless rows and rows of trees.  
A foot soldier is hanging around here, with nothing important to do.

  This stout stone dwelling is only a couple rods in height, so you spend
most of your time ducking your head while walking around within.  This is
the home of a Maradas worshipper, a loyal follower of the element of earth.
Built with the size of a dwarf or gnome in mind, this hut is made of pure
crude stone and can withstand a lot of punishment.  You notice there are
severel rooms within and that one of the larger ones has been completely
sealed with a boulder.  The privacy of the followers of Maradas is important
to them, so you had best be on your way and leave them to their busy lives.

of the eastern part of the city where followers of Maradas live.  There are
several tall trees and colorful bushes along the roads giving you a rather
pleasant and warm feeling inside.  You can't help but think what a great
place this is to own a home and raise a family.  
[Shop] The faint smell of incense wafts towards you from the man behind the smoke cart.
A street sweeper cleans the sidewalk of the road.
