"Beginning at the Preacher of Gath, perform a series of deliveries in Lasler." Complete the miniquest in the Valley of Lasler. Find the preacher of Gath along the road between the village and the school. You may need to walk in and out of the room to get him to talk to you. When asked, tell him your name (sayto preacher <charactername>). He will give you a fan to take to the preacher of Maradas, who will in turn give you a watering can to take to the preacher of Ithrilis, who will give you a kite to deliver to the preacher of Dira, who will give you a tinder box to take to the (empty) Tower of Gath. The instructions given by each of these people are pretty straight-forward. The Towers are visible with the "survey" command. "For demonstrating skill in finding thy way, the Powers granted thee a Mark." |

Enormous columns of black onyx line the way to a dais made from geodes of
every size. The floor is rough hewn granite that crunches underfoot with
each step. Perched atop each column is a stoic earth guardian, carved in
such precise and careful detail that its eyes seem to watch those who enter
the stony corridor.

'Oh, thank you Kaizer!' a preacher of Maradas exclaims to you. 'I see the Preacher of Gath finally got around to returning it. I hope it came in useful for him.'

The swirling current throws you up onto a sandy beach. All about is the
briny scent of ocean salt and the thunderous sound of waves crashing upon
the shore. The air is thick and heavy with moisture and under the sound of
crashing waves is the faint sound of aquatic song. A mosaic of seashells
stretches toward an elemental priestess garbed in clothing made of scales.

'Thanks for bringing that back!' a preacher of Ithrilis exclaims to you. 'I hope those seeds he's planting grow well. There's something special within them...'

Like the walls of the tower, the floor seems almost non-existent, given
away only by a faint distortion of the ground below. Here the winds rush
about, pressing against you lightly at first and then with more strength, as
if they have come to investigate the stranger in their midst.

'Ah, my kite!' a preacher of Dira exclaims to you. 'I hope she had fun with it down at the lake. It's a perfect day today for it, as well. You have good timing, Kaizer! Thank you.'

'I have one last request of you, Kaizer.' a preacher of Dira says to you. 'I'm sure you're tired out from all this running around we've made you do! Can you return this tinderbox to the Tower of Gath?'

'He's not usually there, after all, you met him down on the High Road.' a preacher of Dira says to you. 'Just take it up the tower and Gath should handle the rest!'

The Top of the Tower of Gath - - -

This top chamber of the Tower of Gath is a surprisingly cozy, given that
almost all of the furniture and things in this room are made from stone or
metal. There is is a stone slab table surrounded with low bronze stools,
and the shelves along the walls are crowded with copper and iron statues of
the 99 Avatars of Gath.
As you reach the top of the tower, a tender flame engulfs a tinderbox as Gath reclaims it.
A soft breeze picks the ash up, twirling it away into the sky.

A thunderous, crackling voice tells you 'Return now to the one who set you out on your journey. You have done well, young one.'
