  This area is the life of the castle, as there are commoners, merchants,
and castle officials walking about.  The merchants that are here are selling
all kinds of goods, and there are plenty of people about to buy them.  The
courtyard is also a place where people can gather and carry on a
conversation.  To the south of the courtyard is the doorway to the castle,
and to the north is the small town.
