This quest [3228] is called 'The Ethereal Void Tutorial - The Mark of Gloom',
for Adventurers levels 61 to 250.
This is a TUTORIAL. It provides no rewards, but teaches you about Alyria.
As all mortal Adventurers who visit the realms of the dead know, Mordred the
damned is a poor companion.  A victim of his own hubris and carelessness, he
is not only accursed to haunt the ethereal realm without peace, but to do so
with full knowledge of his own complicity in the matter.  

Existential heartbreak, coming to terms with that grief, and acknowledging
the self within the scope of a world where these events occur are all
important life lessons.  Go spend some quality time with Mordred, and see
what he has to say.  
Tutorial quests do not grant rewards.
This quest has no time limit.
The Ethereal Void Tutorial - The Mark of Gloom consists of:
Phase 1: Visit Mordred the damned.
Phase 2: Spend some time with Mordred.
Phase 3: Spend a while longer with Mordred, really get to know him.
Phase 4: Spend some more time with Mordred, see if you can learn from his mistakes.
