  You are at the intersection of Sloop Lane and Grove Street.  Sloop Lane
runs north and south along the western edge of Pirate's Cove.  A large
forest borders the town to the west, and it is too dense to get to from any
point but the main gate of town.  Grove Street runs east from here; the
street is named for the many trees that surround the street.

  Grove Street is a wide dirt road named for the grove of large sycamore
trees that line the road and shade it with their branches.  The street runs
east-west and forms the southern border for the park in the center of town.
The large obsidian building known to the townsfolk as The Chapel of the Dark
One is to the south.  The Dark One used to wander throughout the town,
lurking in the shadows and watching all who visited.  Legend says he still
lurks quietly.

 Ithrilis' Sacrarium                                    -      N      -

  This intimate little sacrarium, dedicated to Ithrilis, is remarkably
spacious, though not as large as it looks from the street.  There are
several small alcoves lining the sides of the chapel, each containing small,
valuable looking statues, while an ominous obsidian black altar is in the
southern end.  It is amazing, considering the nature of the town, that
someone has not ransacked the place; however, you notice that there are no
benches, pews, or other places to sit.  There is an exit to the north,
enticing you to return to the street.
