This quest is called 'Undercover', for Adventurers levels 60 to 119.
Description of Undercover:
There have been complaints from several of the local townsfolk and
shopkeepers about a recent increase in smuggling within our fair town, and I
have chosen you to investigate these allegations for me. First, you will
need to locate some items to keep notes on. Once you are equipped with
these, head to town to meet with my informant, he will have some information
for you regarding the meeting place used by the smugglers. Once you know
where it is, go there and see how suitable the location is for setting a
trap. I doubt these villains could avoid my guards without inside help, and
I have a pretty good idea who has been funding their activities. Drop in on
these respected members of the community and remind them where their
loyalties should lie. You will need to discover the location of the
smugglers' storage areas to collect evidence. I dare say some of the less
savory characters around town would share this information after a little
persuasion. They can usually be found propping up the local bars. Once you
have collected enough evidence, report to the Captain of the Guards so we
can set up our trap and put an end to the smugglers!
Upon successful completion of this quest you can receive up
to 55 quest points, 5 practice points, 25000 experience points, and 12000 gold pieces.
