Lord Vendredi [Sigil] is the master in charge of this quest.
My loyal servant, Demonia, is celebrating ten seasons employment in my
guard. Both my royal advisors and I are at a loss for an appropriate gift
to reward someone whose faith, loyalty, and courage have made Castle
Vendredi the fairest town in Alyria. Although my advisors are in agreement
that a piece of jewelry, perhaps a ring, would be the best gift, they are
constantly bickering over the exact stone to be used. Therefore, I am
charging you, brave adventurers to settle this quarrel in my castle and to
help me reward Demonia. First, recover an amethyst ring so I may see for
myself if it is beautiful and precious enough for Demonia. Lastly, and most
difficult, recover a large pearl. I am told there may be found on the isles
northeast of my fair town. If this be so, you may need to use the magical
sprig of heather to successfully journey to the isles.
