This quest is called 'Means of Transportation', for Adventurers levels
160 to
180.
Description of Means of Transportation:
We all know the story's of the creatures lurking in the dark of Mount
Vesuvius. There have been many stories of journey's coming to erupt ends
down below. Many have fallen trying to reach the transportation deep blow.
I need some brave soul to wander down in the dark and kill some of the
threats! On the way down there are many tunnels that can make the it hard
to keep the right direction. Make sure you wander deep enough to find the
means of transportation for the Sigil people. The man that runs the
transportation needs protection as well so help him out. I need these
threats cleared so that the people of Sigil can find some comfort when going
there. May the Powers guide and protect you!

Phase 1: Defeat
A lingering essence.
Wonders around Vesuvius. —

Once you defeat "The Possessed" lingering essence will appear. —

Phase 6: Visit
The Mad Gnome.
From Ashy Intersection... head northwest... and keep going north-ish and then down to Sweltering Intersection. Head south... go down until you can't go down anymore. Follow "spacious tunnel" northbound. At fork, head northwest. The Mad Gnome's Cave is at the end of this tunnel. —
