A Training Yard - - - (-------------------------------------------------) - <---(M)---> E - - - Right outside the barracks is a large training yard which is used for practicing melee combat. All of Xaventry's soldiers must be well trained in several types of weapons ranging from bow to flail. You can see a whole bunch of trainees practicing with wooden weapons and shields. There is also someone out here shouting at all the soldiers, who is probably the drill sargent himself. A soldier who has been stationed at the barracks watches over you.
