This long, winding street runs along the east side of the canal, and a
short stone wall has been constructed near the edge of the water.  A large
gap in the wall allows people to climb in and out of the gondolas that float
lazily downstream.  A few shops line the street, and vendors mill about
offering up various goods for sale.  A posh restaurant lies to the north.
