Standing at the top of the high altar you can see the four worshipping
chambers on all sides around you.  The light here is brilliantly eminating
from the altar itself, giving you a mysterious feeling inside.  You wonder
how the priests conduct a ceremony on this thing without going pernamently
blind.  Just before you are ready to step down and head back to the
worshipping chambers, you notice out of the corner of your eye that there
are small staircases ascending only a few rods to your northwest, northeast,
southeast, and southwest.  
     Several huge blocks piled on top of each other drip a sticky red fluid.
