Heading Along a Well Used Woodland Trail               -      N      -

You are walking down a woodland path that leads to the towne center in
the north.  The trail here is very wide and can accommodate heavy wagon
traffic.  The forest outside the trail is not as towering as in other parts
of the town.  Clearings can be seen through the trees at regular intervals. 
This place must look breathtaking in the fall.  To the east is a small
tavern selling some of the finest ales and to the west is a quaint inn for
those needing a place to sleep after spending too much time in the tavern or
making the long journey into town.  
A child runs around your feet, playing a game of tag.
A foot soldier is hanging around here, with nothing important to do.
