The front desk is where the librarian does most of his work during the
hours of light.  Here he will catalog most of the new material and shelve it
according to its author and subject.  He also can help you out if you are
looking for some material to reaserch with.  From the many wrinkles on his
face, you gather he has spent a year too many in this musty place.
