A Curious Clearing                                     -      -     NE

In this section of the woods, amongst the hundreds of pines and
saprolings that make up the forest, a lone willow tree seems to have found
its way here.  The tree has grown to an immense size, almost four times as
big around as any of the surrounding trees.  The willow seems to have
knocked out a portion of the canopy above, allowing light to filter down
from the sky and give the area a gentle glow.  Set in the ground in front of
the tree, a stone and moss altar has been erected, adding more to the
mysterious ambiance of the clearing.
