Ascending Mount Firespit                               -      N      -

A deep, wide trench has been dug into the side of Mount Firespit, and you
are now climbing in it.  The sides of the trench are composed of many
different minerals spanning hundreds of strata and millions of years.  The
trench is cleanly square, as if dug by a gigantic flathead shovel.  The way
up is steep and not entirely straight, making for a difficult trek. 
However, whatever's at the top should be worth it, even if it is just a nice
view.
A large feline stares at you through slitted eyes, ready to attack.
