This raised wooden platform is the hub of the ape community.  It serves
as a meeting place for tribesmen and sometimes as the site of a market,
where hunters trade wares and where gorilla warlords sell their services. 
Above you a vine allows access to a lookout post, and to the south of here
is the hut of the chieftan.
