This large space dominates the center of the circular room and is
surrounded by massive stone pillars.  The runes that circumscribe the room
all seem to point to this spot.  A large gateway on a raised dias rises from
the exact center of the room.  Made of the darkest crystal, the upright
gateway reflects the dim torchlight into myriad colors and patterns that
dance and flicker across the ceiling and walls.
