While pages and messengers still travel these halls, it is clear that
they are all officers or high ranking members of the administrative unit. 
The hallway itself is decidedly spacious, possibly to allow the passage of
large troop formations.  This hallway stretches away to the north, east, and
west.  In the dim light, you can just make out a cavernous room to the
south.
