The private study of the General Director is a homely place, a surprise
given the Director's harsh nature.  Floor to ceiling book shelves cover the
walls, filled with the best writing of the greatest scholars.  A large desk
dominates the middle of the room, while a comfortable cot provides a place
to catch a quick nap.  A bright lamp illuminates the desk, leaving the rest
of the room in dimmer light.  A small picture of a happy family sits on the
desk.  Perhaps there is a softer side to the Director after all.
