The branch stretches out and slightly upward from the massive trunk.  The
width of the branch ranges from ten feet to a relatively narrow three feet
as you move away from the trunk.  The leaves are huge and numerous, and
together with smaller branches shooting up from the main limbs of the tree,
they form a dense foliage.  Birds and other animals live in these branches,
some of them much larger than one might think.  
A small blue bird bounces along the branch.
